When I was down you licked my tears. When I was afraid you calmed my fears.
When I was happy you romped at my feet.
And when I was resting you snuggled by my side.

Your romp and bark they sometimes wailed. But when it mattered you never failed.

Rest now my sweets. I know you are comfy.
And know that Mommy is loving you from a distance.

My "Baber". Brandy was my first
sheltie. She was a wonderful bright
girl. Although she (nor I at the time) had
any obedience training, I could take her just about anywhere "off lead". She could pick her toys out by name. She rolled over very elloquently in either direction.
She was the "trash" police when the cat tried to pry the lid off. And she was my first mommie. Mother to "Lil' Miss Taffy".
You were the reason I went on with this breed and you have never made me regret it. I love and miss you Baber.
My Little "Taffer". You were my first baby from my first litter. You always got compliments everywhere we went and loved to go "bye-bye". I'll miss those rides and seeing how excited you were to be going with me.

The Rainbow Bridge
There is a Bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.
There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on earth.
So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!
You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again  and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.

He would race me to the ring and couldn't wait to do his "down and back" and "around the ring" cause he KNEW there was always a cookie at the end! He was a very loving and great tempered Sheltie who loved everything and everybody.
             I miss you terribly!!!!
